Movie Review: Marry A Millionaire & Thoughts to Ponder

The guy in this show is so CHUN! He is the 2nd korean actor that caught my eyes after Quang Xiang Yu of Stairways to Heaven. And like the first guy, it was only like at 2nd sight. The first time I saw him on the trailer, I thought he was quite big sized. But as I watched the series, I got so 'lum' by him ^_^His eyes are just charming!! The look he gives to the girl(ok to make things easier to express I shall place myself as the girl) can just melts my heart away!! The look is one of true love, of deep care and great comfort. *smiles sheepishly, then zaps myself back to reality*

Young Hun (Ko Su - Green Rose) is a handsome young lad, but barely has a penny to his name. He works as a delivery boy for a small soup shop - hardly very glamorous. But it is for this very reason that he is approached by the producers of a new reality TV show.
Young Hun must pretend to be a millionaire, whilst a gaggle of rabid, superficial, money-hungry beauties battle it out in order to win his hand in marriage. Once his chosen bride has been selected, Young Hun must then reveal to them the truth - that he is in fact penniless, and if the girl still agrees to marry him, she will be showered with prizes.
From Young Hun's point of view it seems like a win-win situation, until he comes face to face with his first love, the gorgeous Eun Jong (Kim Hyun Ju, from Glass Shoes) amongst the hopefuls! She has come on the show for the money, too - and attracts the attentions of the show's producer, Gee Na - who really is rich!!
~From one of the websitesOne of the lines uttered by Young hoon that I LOVE is (translated)- 'I decided to give you the ring I bought in France though I have looked at many of them. This is because it was bought with ALL THAT I HAVE, presented to you with all my love..'

The reason that I am so touched by it is because it tells us that just because someone doesn't love you the way you want it, it doesn't mean that he/she doesn't love you with ALL THEY HAVE. *nudge at jin*

'Wan wan don't watch this kind of shows too often. It is touching but such ideal guy doesn't exist in reality. We don't want you to wait for someone who will never come to your life.'
haha. My dad. He always tell me don't keep listening to the 'stairways to heaven' theme songs because they are melancholic and can make one depressed. haha.
No worries, I may be a romantic person at heart; my imagination may run wild to the sky, but I still know where the ground lies.=)
*secretly wishes that my true love will come one day and is 70% as leng chai as Ko Su*
Since I did not get to post up the lake house pics which I sieved through painstakingly(intended for my frientser blog last time), I shall now upload them as well as putting up the excerpts from my posts.

1. Alex was given a second chance in love in the sense that, the 'future' Kate warned him about the accident in which he was supposed to die, and the 'future' Kate told the '2004 Alex' to meet up with her as the '2006 Alex'.
Thoughts to ponder:
Should love be given a second chance? Say a person disappointed you before, and when he comes back again, should you give him the second chance when the second time, he really made you like him again for himself(as in the real him)? or......
Should we learn from the 1st time and do not let history repeat itself? After all, one heartbreak is MORE than enough for our fragile heart.
Should a guy gives himself a second chance? As in, he let a girl go due to circumstances; or that both of them agreed to break up. As times goes by, the situation may have changed. He realises that he still cares for her and still likes her.
Question is, should he pluck up his courage and ask her once again? Should he at least, give himself a second chance by making the FIRST STEP- asking the girl for a second chance?
2. Love is about waiting for the right timing. Alex waited for two years, and it all ended happily.
Thoughts to Ponder:
Like a scene in the movie, Kate answered a girl, 'If she is not careful enough, she (referring to an actress in the show) may end up waiting for the rest of her life.'
The girl question was, 'My mum told me that there is always someone out there who is better. So we should wait?'
To me, life is too short to cry over spilled milk. Most of the time, we never know till we try.
It took my gf's buddy friend to fail to get into the uni she is going to, that my gf realised she liked him as the special one, not just as a good buddy friend. The truth is, the guy has been liking her in a special way too; but he was afraid that he may be going to another country and things might not work out.
What's the ending? They both ARE in different countries, continents, to be exact. But they are holding on strong in this LDR (Long Distance Relationship).
So you see, sometimes, we need certain events to HIT us-that we realise how much we miss a person, and how much we have been taking him/her for granted.

So you see, life is like that. Do not ALWAYS think that the grass is greener on the other side. You have to ask yourself, does that grass suits YOU?
Ask yourself what you are looking for in a relationship. Is it just the physical intimacy? Is it just another person to 'get rid of your boredom'?
Is it another person who pays for your meals and movies and fetches you around?(for girls)
Is it another person who helps you tidy your room, shifts hostels, cook nice food and accompany you when your hengdais are NOT around? (for guys)
Or is it someone whom you enjoy spending time with and enjoy talking just about everything under the sun with. Someone who can make you smile from the bottom of your heart, someone whom you can just be yourself in front of him/her.
If it is the latter, then, look no further for sparks and passion. Look for communication and compatibility. Make the sparks happen. God maps our fates, but it is just a guide. Fate is in our OWN HANDS! That's why the lines are in own palms.
Do not think that there is better scenery in front.
Choose your love, love your choice.
