A Typical Day For Us

Reached the plant at 8.30 a.m. as required, sat in the 'guest room' assigned to us for discussion until we have warmed up (usually it is about 9 a.m. unless someone came in and asked 'You know where to go today?'), then entered the designated session

Anticipated the 10.30 a.m. break time, went back to the 'guest room' to chat, rest and jot down information for our portfolio

Entered the designated session again (supposedly at 10.40 a.m., but usually at 11 a.m.) *Told you we are good in planning our own schedule*

Anticipated lunch time at 12 noon, finished lunch by 12.30 p.m. to make way for the staff (coz official lunch hour is 12.30-1.30 p.m.)

Left the designated session for 'guest room' at about 4.50 p.m. to get ready for 5.00 p.m.

*The whole schedule made me feel like 'the other ppl' who works in government sector*

What We Actually Did
Observe the activities as scheduled for us

Read Standard of Operating Procedures (SOP) of machines and processes to kill time and to complete our portfolios

Read Specifications
(Specifications are kinda like lab manuals which indicate the steps in performing identification test, bioassay, microbial limit tests etc. for a certain raw material/product) *Shall leave the details for my portfolio*

Played bingo while pretending to be in deep discussion

Gossiped among girls and teased Alex

Played uno for like 10 minutes before we were told by the pharmacists to 'spend your training time wisely' *guilty*

Talked to a ukm girl who was there with 2 other friends, surprised at her statement 'it was interesting to see how they set up the machines, how they clean them etc....We were at the sieving department for 3days' *OMG!!!*

Met 5 USCI pharmacy students during our 2nd week of training, told them all our 'tricks' and shared information with them generously and selflessly.

Photo sessions!!!

It was so hot that we could barely open our eyes. From left: Alex, Grace, Shin Yee, Me, Swee Ting.

Swee Ting and I at the machine used to move stocks into warehouse.

Laughing like mad coz the warehouse workers kept teasing us while taking this pic.

Grace, Shin Yee and Alex mimicking the name of the pharmaceutical company.

Candid.

Posers in action!

With the receptionist who 'knows everything'. At the back of us is the 'guest room' which we used for 'discussion'.

With Mr. Gan, one of the pharmacists.

A typical lunch for us.

Eh, before this there were no photos right? Don't tell me I didn't notice them earlier.

Heh! I like the photo which you all were laughing like mad, as you said, esp Alex! Before reading the caption, I was actually wondering why you guys were all grins. That photo is very nice!

Btw, who was the photographer for your group photos?
